In the west, was a town, and there lived an old man popularly known as Uncle Happy. He was the owner of a Farm and there at the Road-link he had a resting place for the truckers & other passing by travelers to relax for a while, have something to fill the belly, and move on.
The purpose behind this resting place was to provide some comfort to the drivers & passengers during their long drives and while they were relaxing or resting to have some refueling as well. The attention grew over and it became a hot spot and neighboring lands brought in a fuel station, a car repair workshop, a small grocery vendor, and so on… in a matter of months, it became a small-town stopover for many.
Originally Uncle Happy was just a farm owner, who would maintain his cattle stock, look after his farming, and has a small chicken & goose corner as well. It was one morning he was walking by that corner of his farm and he could hear some talk and discussion going on between the Hen & her 5 Eggs (interpretation only)
The Eggs were explaining their dream outcome and fantasizing about their future… one of them started with his wish to be
Boiled, his wish was to be so whitely clean yet soft and slippery from the outside, hiding all the yellow dryness of the yolk inside. When used separately will attain the integrity, and when mashed together they become an integral part of an output that’s spread as a unique.
Sunny-Side Up, his wish was similar to Boiled but wanted to have the same exposure of surface for both white & Yolk. He intended to give the choice to the user if to combine or to isolate & enjoy. SSU was pretty sure no one likes white to be uncooked, however, many like the Yolk to be liquidly & flowing, thus creating a deadly combination.
Poached, not very different from both Boiled & SSU, however with a combination of something from each, keeping the healthy part emphasized and not to be cooked in oil makes him special. Marinating the softness of the Yolk, yet having clean & soft white protection around. He intended to give the user the experience of SSU with a healthy white like Boiled.
Scrambled, was totally off track. His ambition was to merge the white & Yellow to make a different growth altogether, have the ability of harmony & togetherness, yet be as flexible as the user likes. The hard-cooked all across and firm or the semi-cooked soft & gooey for the mouth to just slide in. He truly wanted to explore new dimensions of user experience.
Omelet, was all in favor of Scrambled style though, except for Introducing collaborations and alliances with vegetables, seasonings, cheese, spices and herbs, and so on… He intended to explore any and every horizon of creativity and flavor. The excitement he had for merging & mixing with other ingredients into his output & delivery was so welcoming by the users that he was overwhelmed and made many combinations towards his success and glory.
The HEN, listening to the EGG enriched conversation couldn’t stay an outsider and interrupted with her wisdom to give them the timely lesson for life.
My dear Eggs, No matter what basket you are placed, or which chef will pick you to use, or what style that chef is preparing on the pan… “BE ADAPTABLE” – you do not know what is out there until you are picked and placed for boiling, cracked for SSU, Omelet, Poaching, or being scrambled. The world out there is ruthless, they only want to satisfy their desire and care nothing about your dreams. You can satisfy the desire of your customer and `make him satisfied with the choices he makes. Indeed you have the influence of your coach (the chef) how he helps you present yourself, yet again it is your character that will ensure the healthy, enriched, and delicious outcome of your being.
Uncle Happy, who was all in agreement with the HEN, felt so proud of her and the message she gave to the Eggs because that was the second of the two Values for the Roadside resting place “Adaptability” for any & every person that walks in… no matter what we will adapt to serve you. To “Serve” being the first of the two Values.
The importance of service is enriched with the flavors of adaptability. It is an ability to create a path for moving forward with growth & prosperity. As said by Aung San Suu Kyi
“I don’t think of myself as unbreakable. Perhaps I’m just rather flexible and adaptable.”
in the new normal leveraging to increase your adaptability is surely the key to your business growth & success. Feel free to book a free consulting session in case you are facing any challenges https://forms.gle/Yd4oepcainfS27eN6
