These habits won’t only help you in your daily life, but help you love yourself even more. For some, this is a reminder. So take it as a sign and implement. Of course, consistency is everything, so dont just do things once and expect great results.?
??1. Practice Gratitude
As bad as things are, there’s always something to be grateful for. What are you grateful for right now in this moment? Make a list of 10 things and FEEL the gratitude and thank God. Do this every day in the morning or evening!?
??2. Get rid of toxic people and hang out with people you love
Having good energy around you is probably one of the best things you can do for self-care. That’s why I love reiki and energy healing. So the sameway you cleanse your body, your home and even your energy, cleanse toxic, negative people. And then surround yourself with the people who make you happy, who stand by you in hard times, who never give up on you, who support you and got your back. If you dont have any of these people in your life, its time to attract them.?
??3. Spend time in nature
I live in a small forest, that's how much I love nature!! The trees are healing. We get so busy that we forget to spend time grounding ourselves and soaking up mother nature's healing energy.

Take a walk, meditate or simply sit outside 20-30 minutes a day.?
??4. Cook your favorite meal
This is underrated! I know I know… some of us are tired of cooking! Myself included. But its something about taking the time to cook something you love for yourself and not cooking for someone else because you have to. Whether you’re baking your favorite dessert or cooking something you rarely take the time to do. Or if you’re fancy like me, I like to get those meal kits with recipes and ingredients for things I would probably never cook. Enjoy the time, sip your favorite wine and watch your favorite movie or a new series.?
??5. Take time to Play.
There’s something we all enjoy that we immerse ourselves in and lose track of the drama and chaos of the world. Whatever that is…? reading books, watching TV, playing with your dog, dancing a little, painting, exercising, or maybe singing… do it! We need that balance. We need that play time like we did when we were kids. What’s the point of working hard if you dont take the time out for things you love.??
