5 Daily Dental Care Tips
I’m always on the hunt for relevant info and I loved this - one of the best articles I’ve seen on this topic for a while. Here are a few paragraphs as a taster...
While a warm welcoming smile can make a meaningful first-impression, a closed-mouth smile or the smell of a person’s raunchy breath can do quite the opposite.
Two Minutes, Twice a Day
That’s all it takes. A total of four minutes per day and you’re already well on your way to maintaining a bright white smile. Just make sure that you’re brushing for at least 2 whole minutes to ensure that you fully clean your teeth. Also, make sure that you use a soft bristled toothbrush that won’t wear away at your enamel. Furthermore, rinsing with mouthwash after brushing helps to wash out any leftover food particles that you may have missed.
Brush Gently
While it’s important to brush every day, it’s also just as important to brush with a proper technique. Try to imagine brushing your teeth as if you were polishing the shell of an egg. While tooth enamel is strong enough to protect your teeth from eating and drinking, by brushing too vigorously, you can wear away this protective layer and weaken the integrity of your teeth.
Pretty valuable stuff, I’m sure you’ll agree! Why not check out the whole article here and share your thoughts with me afterwards: call 0403 368 147 or email me at admin@dentistryplus.com.au.
