The 5 C's to Success in Business

2015 is upon us and if you haven't started your plan to create the success you desire in the upcoming year you are already behind schedule. But don't worry, it is never too late and here is a simple approach to create your plan.
1) Clarity. You need to sit quietly and create the vision for your year. Your vision is a picture of the results you desire to achieve. Once you have the clarity of your vision you can start to establish goals that match your picture. From there it is essential that you set up the accountability measures along the way to make sure you are on track to success.
2) Confidence. You need to create the belief system that allows you to believe you are worthy of big goals. Confidence comes from your subconscious mind and overcoming any fears, self image issues, paradigms that limit your greatest work, and any other underlying beliefs that may hold you back.
3) Competence. If you are going to achieve big goals, big dreams, and real success you are missing, or need to improve on some skills, that until they are developed will hold you back. Sales skills, Communication skills, Leadership skills, and Time and Activity Management skills are just a few of the areas you may need to focus on.
4) Craft. Creating the right strategy for the year, for the months, for the weeks, and for each day will be critical to your success. To craft your strategy it is essential you stay focused on the most important activities to achieve the success you desire.
5) Conditions. Each of us has conditions in our environment that have the potential to get in our way, slow us down, or all but stop of from achieving the desired results we seek. It could be you (see #2 on Confidence). It could be that you allow others to talk you out of your dreams. It could be office conditions that are not prime to do your best work. Identifying the conditions that may prevent you from achieving real success and doing something to correct those conditions is crucial to your end result.
These are the 5 C's to your success. I believe it is extremely helpful to hire a coach to help you work through these five areas to help you work freely towards your goals.
