The 5 Core Systems Every Coaching Business Needs

The 5 Core Systems Every Coaching Business Needs

There’s one thing about running a solo coaching business that you can’t avoid.

If you don’t have systems in place for marketing, conversion, and operations, you’ll never make it.

There’s just too much to do, and I don’t know about you, but I didn’t start my business to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I want time to flex my creative muscles, spend time with family and friends…

Or just lay by the pool sipping an ice-cold adult beverage.

So today I want to share 5 of my core systems with you that have allowed me to design a solo business that pays me $25k/mo while creating just 3-hours a day.

Oh, and if you don’t have one (or any) of these strategies don’t worry. I’ve got something special for you at the bottom of this email. ??

System #1 - Scalability

Getting past the $100k/yr mark as a coach is no small feat. Less than 15% of entrepreneurs make more than $100,000 a year and it’s even worse in the coaching and consulting industry.

Most struggle to make enough money to justify having a business. They trade “time-for-dollars” and the ones that are successful are so burned out and over-committed that they couldn’t take on another client even if one showed up.

To break free from the hustle and grind, you need a strategy that’s scalable - one that will allow you to blow through the $100k ceiling without working yourself into an early grave.

System #2 - A Strong Authority Brand

To sell coaching, there are three things you must establish before anyone will hire you:

  1. Crediblity
  2. Authority
  3. Trust

Most coaches spend years struggling to build a personal brand. But a personal brand isn’t enough. If you want to succeed as a coach you need an AUTHORITY BAND.

Authority Brands are a unique type of brand that combines niche celebrity and expert credibility that position you as a dominant force in your industry.

Over the years I’ve developed an 8-point process that virtually guarantees anyone can become an authority in their industry.

Its the same process I’ve used to create 3, million-dollar brands - all in different industries. (more on this later, so keep reading)

System #3 - A Coaching Program That Creates “Forever Clients”

I’m going make the crazy assumption that you did not get into coaching to become a professional marketer who spends their days testing 18 different variations of Instagram ads.

If you’re like me, you prefer to spend all your time working with awesome people to create transformational change in their lives.

So there’s nothing worse than getting a great client only for them to leave after 3-6 months.

This was a major problem for me, which is why I spent the last year re-engineering my course-based coaching business into a collaborative studio that allows me to work with clients indefinitely.

That means I spend minimal time trolling social media or testing ads and more time creating amazing solutions for my clients.

System #4 - A Lead Magnet That Attracts Premium Prospects

The only thing worse than having no clients is building a massive list full of people who aren’t a good fit for your coaching program.

Most people confuse “subscribers” with “leads.” They create lead magnets that attract low-quality prospects who just want free stuff instead of people who are actively looking for help solving a major problem.

There are 7 criteria a lead must meet to be considered “Premium”:

  1. Engages in Dialogue
  2. Friendly and Cooperative
  3. They Know What They Want
  4. Their Need is Urgent
  5. They Want Help Getting It
  6. They Have the Money
  7. They Have the Ability to Say “Yes”

If you don’t have a quality lead magnet that attracts people who meet this criteria, you’re wasting your time and your money.

System #5 - A Nurture & Conversion Process

I’ll tell you a little secret all the marketing guru’s don’t want you to know…

90% of the prospects who join your email list won’t be ready to buy immediately.

It will take most of them 6–12 months before they decide you’re trustworthy enough to give you any money.

That means you need a process for nurturing those prospects until they’re ready to buy.

In my business, I refer to this process as my Conversion Incubator, and you’re in it right now. ??

The truth is, people don’t buy coaching when its offered to them.

They buy when they have a specific and urgent need that they can’t solve on their own.

Your job is to make sure you’re there when that need arises.

If you have all five of these systems, you’ve got everything you need to create the kind of coaching business that feeds and funds your life - instead of consuming it.

Now as you know, Black Friday is right around the corner and if you’ve been on my list for any length of time, you know I don’t do discounts.

Discounts devalue your brand and the service you provide.

But it is the holidays and I like a deal as much as the next guy…

So if you read today’s letter and realized there are pieces of your coaching business that are missing, then this is going to be a no-brainer decision.

I’ve compiled all 5 of the core strategies we’ve discussed today into a Black Friday deal so good you’ll have to say “Yes.”

So go grab this special offer now before it’s gone forever:
