A 5-Cent Mastery For A Successful 2023

It is true that a new year is a symbol of new possibilities, but what we often forget is that our last year’s version cannot achieve new results for us.

This is why I think it is essential to transform yourself into a new version in order to get the results you want in your life and career.

Until last year, it was okay for me to earn a couple of crores, but now my goal is to earn a million dollars.

Until last year, weighing X kg was okay for me, now the goal is to weigh (X–10) kg.

Until last year, I had no books or keynotes under my name, but this year the goal is to become an author and a TEDx speaker.

But I know for sure that it’s highly unlikely for me to achieve any of these things if I keep on operating on the same frequency, with the same skills, and with the same mindset as I had last year.

In career and life, only 5% of people are able to become truly successful in all senses. And they do it by following, what I call the “5 Cent Mastery.”

In order to excel in the 5 Cent Mastery, here are the 5 things that an individual needs to focus on:

1. New Horizons: If you keep working with a short-term attitude, you will never achieve success. As human beings, we always OVERESTIMATE what we can achieve in 1 year and UNDERESTIMATE what we can achieve in 3 years.

95% of the leaders are penny-wise and pound-foolish. They always base their decisions on their current situations (where they could be broke) rather than their future aspirations (where they could be a millionaire).

It’s important to remember that the horizons you maintain define your growth. If you seek short-term growth, you will always resort to tactics, but if you seek long-term growth, you need a strategic plan in place to achieve what you want and take charge of your life.

2. New Goals: If you want to achieve a higher level of success, what you perhaps need is a radical shift in your current thought process and “out of the box” thinking, as they call it.

But that is not possible if you are not willing to take risks and step outside your comfort zone and only want to play it safe in life and career.

You need to remember that taking risks is a prerequisite to achieving higher goals, and in order to do that, you need to define goals that challenge you every day.

3. New Frequency: The reason why a lot of people remain stagnant is that they do not want to develop a new mindset with new beliefs that thinks of possibilities and opportunities to achieve success. But it’s important to do that if you want to achieve your goals.

To do that, you require tuning, reprogramming, and at times, a complete overhaul of the old system. You are someone who is worth millions is the first belief you should install in yourself and others around you.

4. New Strategic Approach: It’s a simple equation: normal approach = normal results! In this fast-paced world where you become obsolete every year, you need a radical strategic approach if you want to achieve extraordinary results.

You must know that it’s never about how HARD you work; it’s about how DIFFERENTLY you work, that gets you to success faster.

5. New Skills: Your new mindset and strategies are irrelevant if you do not have the skills you need. A lot of people are just getting better by 1% in their functional skills, but they don’t realize that this 1% improvement is only going to take them so far.

Instead, you need to learn, apply, and practice the new age digital and power skills. The best approach to learning skills is to learn 1 skill in 1 month!
