5 Brands Capitalising on Made In UK Fashion

Bug Clothing

Utilising factory waste and dead stock, Amy Ward has created a collection of beautiful, handmade womenswear designs, which are available in limited quantities or for pre-order.

Peachy Den

The fact that Peachy Den’s latest collection appears like a step back in time is no mistake: each item designed and made in Balham has been created with a nod to bygone decades, bringing them back for a fresh, young womenswear market.

Genevieve Sweeney

Whilst premium knitwear brand is certainly nothing new, Genevieve Sweeney acts as a demonstration of everything British knitwear can achieve. Made exclusively in the UK, through close relationships with British mills and suppliers, cashmere and lambswool jumpers in eye catching designs form the backbone of the brand.

Good Joe

Men’s T-Shirt brand Good Joe does more than support British manufacturing. For every item purchased, an additional item is given to someone in the UK who needs it. Family-owned, based in Leeds, and effortlessly cool whilst avoiding exploitation are the pillars by which the brand lives.

Church of Antioch

Church of Antioch is a unisex, casualwear brand that only ever seems to whisper about its own coolness. As well as offering premium silhouettes, their straightforward transparency about their supply chain make their feature an essential on this list. Fabrics are woven in Leicester and the garments are produced by ‘five lovely ladies’ in another UK based factory, before being dyed at another UK based plant.
