Reading is the cheat code to success.
Making reading a habit allows you to learn new things to help you succeed in your career and in your relationships.
Consistently reading books improves your memory, communication skills, and your focus. Not to mention it's been proven to help you live longer, improves your mental health and reduces stress.
My highest level of traditional education is an Associates Degree, yet and still I consistently do business with highly educated business owners in all areas of business.
I have just as much invested in books and courses as a traditional college degree, and I still continue to learn through finding the best books o read.
With that said, here are five must read books for everyone.
How To Win Friends and Influence People
How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie is golden in so many ways.
The biggest takeaway for me was to become genuinely interested in people and think and talk in terms of the other person's interests.
When you sincerely make someone feel important, relationshis are built and your create great outcomes for everyone.
Rich Dad's Cashflow Quadrant: Rich Dad's Guide To Financial Freedom
We are all familiar with the world famous book, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki . It's an excellent book, but Rich Dad's Cashflow Quadrant takes financial literacy to another level.
The biggest takeaway from this book is that you are categorized by how you earn your income.
You are either an employee, self employed, a business owner and/or an investor.
Employees and self employed people are on the left side of the quadrant due to them trading their time for their income and business owners and investors are on the right side since they actually put their money to work wothout being involved in the process. This gives them time and financial freedom.
I highly recommend you read this one if you haven't already. It's eye opening and mind blowing.
The Seven Levels of Communication
For anyone in a sales role or starting a business, The Seven Levels of Communication by Michael J Maher will show you how to dominate your market without spending a dollar on marketing.

Peter Montoya and Tim Vandehey knocked it out of the park with this one.

This book is a step by step guide on how to do so.
It gives you a ton of free resources to go along with the book and shows you how to become celebrity like in your market.
Never Split The Difference: Negotiate As If Your Life Depended On It
Everything in life is negotiated. It's your duty to figure out how to get everything you want in the process.
Former FBI negotiator Chris Voss shows you how to negotiate, get everything you want without giving up anything.
It sounds harsh, but he shows you how to be empathetic and understanding in the process.
In his former life, he was a hostage negotiator and he had to figure out how to get hostages back without meeting the demands of the bad guys.
Sounds better now?
You too can learn this skill and you should.
The better you become at negotiating, the greater your success rate will be in business.
These are five books that I recommend.
