What We Need
The Lead Data Analyst will support delivery across multiple data platforms including the cloud-based Data Analytics Layer (DAL) and the on-prem Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The Lead Data Analyst will support new solutions, enhancements, operational changes, and the migration of existing EDW applications and solutions to the DAL. The Lead Data Analyst will work closely with technology vendor partners to support data ingestion, transformation, storage, and delivery for operational and analytical solutions. This role will work closely with data scrum teams including developers, testers, scrum masters, product owners, and subject matter experts.
As a member of the Agile scrum team, the Lead Data Analyst will conduct spike analysis to support estimation, scheduling, and backlog refinement activities. They will enhance user stories with technical specifications to support development and testing. This role will participate or lead cross-functional team meetings as a representative of the Data Analytics and Insights team to ensure capabilities, technology, resource capacity, and delivery status are communicated and understood by enterprise partners. This role will also work with developers and testers to address open questions and clarify requirements and specifications defined in user stories.

Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $164,010.00
The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.

What We Need

Your Day to Day
- Lead cross-divisional project teams in the implementation of data driven projects for consumers, providers, and accounts.
- Create data specific artifacts supporting portfolio initiatives, projects, and operational enhancements.
- Act as liaison with internal and external (vendor) teams to deliver requirements, specifications, and definitions required for successful Agile implementation.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies and support the definition of epics and user stories using Jira.
- Build, organize, and maintain and process, technical, and solution specific content including design documents, roadmaps, data mapping, reference documents, and workflows in Confluence.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare data domains including (but not limited to) enrollment, account, claims, providers, products, digital, clinical, financial, and wellness data.
- Designs, develops, and programs operational data integration, extracts, reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support complex business needs of internal partners.
- Leverages an expansive knowledge of structured query language (SQL) to program and creates reports for the informatics/analyst community.
- Builds deep knowledge of healthcare domain by engaging in delivery, operations, & analytics initiatives
- Provides complex operational analysis on healthcare data sets and maintains Health Informatics web content.
- Assists in the data definitions requirements critical to the successful implementation of data-driven projects through the development of effective working relationships with key internal and external customers.
- Knowledge and understanding of data ingestion, transformation, storage, security, and exchange.
- Experience developing queries using data mining and/or business intelligence tools.
- Experience translating enterprise requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
- Knowledge of data validation approaches to confirm and document results meet expectations.
- Ability to estimate, inform, and negotiate expectations that meet enterprise partner and technical delivery needs.
- Experience working on Agile teams to deliver ongoing value throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 10+ years data analyst experience
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare
- 5+ years of experience using SQL and BI tools
