5. Approach is the Way-Out

Many a times, it’s not the Task or Goal is difficult but the Approach we take to resolve or achieve the required Goal and Task. Yes, all that matter is the Approach or the Way that we have decided to take make the things difficult, and yup it can also make it the most difficult, or the worst.

              Many a times, you would have heard people saying that his approach was wrong, or you should change the approach, or Why don’t you approach it in a particular manner. Approach, the key to almost all the solution, and why almost because some time the approach might not lead to you to 100% of the attainment but it might clear your 80% obstacle, to complete the task or Achieve the Goal.

              Let us take a different Approach to understand,

We all have different options or roads that lead us to our Home, after office. It might be by express way, train, Air ways, Water ways, by walking, By Cab, By Share Ride, By bike, By train, Metro and the Permutation and Combinations of all the above. Believe me, if note down it on piece of paper, you will get some more than 15 approaches to reach Home. All this approaches have their own Pros and Cons.

              So what we do, DO we take same approach of easiest or safest route, every day ??? No, the answer is NO, we do not take approach as a default road, but our mind, depending upon the need chose and provide us best permutation and combination available. Just like if I want to reach home faster the approach will be not taking share cab, but a direct cab or any other faster route. During rains, you might take the approach of walking towards home rather than to take a Bus.

              The same way, the GOAL remains the same. But the approach is what makes the different. Few of your known colleague or Boss would preferto execute the Project as Whole at one GO, few might just take the approach of Dividing the project in to various Phases, the Goals would be the same But approach is what matter most.
