4th of July Email Marketing Ideas

The 4th of July is only a couple of days away! And it’s never too late to start your email marketing campaigns. If you haven’t sent out any emails, it is time that you start them now. You can do a quick pre-Independence day email campaign or a post one!

Here are some things that you should keep in mind before you start!

Leverage Subject Lines to Increase Open Rate!

Subject lines are the key to any successful email campaign. Avoid sounding cliched and focus on attracting the attention of the subscriber. An average person gets over 100 promotional emails a day and the first thing they see before opening the email is the subject line. So make sure your subject line stands from the rest!?

A bad subject line might end up making you look like a spam email. So make it a point to be concise and clear. Your subject line should convey what the readers can expect in the email when they open. So don’t clickbait them and disappoint them.?

Yes, it is important to have higher open rates but it is all the more important to have higher conversion rates and lower unsubscribe rates to keep the health of your email in check.

Keep the subject lines within 7 to 8 words, personalize it, don’t capitalize every letter, and don’t use too many exclamation points.

Segment Your Audience

You might have non-U.S. subscribers in your email lists. So filter them out for the 4th of July email campaign. Only the U.S. has its independence day on the Fourth of July. So unnecessary emails to people outside of the country might be just a waste of time and effort for you and your subscribers.

Segment your audience demographically and send your 4th of July email campaigns to only the U.S. audience! Segmentation makes your email targeted and results in higher open rates and lower unsubscribe rates.

CTAs

Never underestimate the Call To Action buttons because they are the ones allowing the subscribers to take action after looking at your email campaign. They decide the performance of your campaigns.?

And so take more than a little effort in deciding where it should be placed, what color should it be, and what should be written as the CTA copy. Plan them strategically! It is as important as water for fish, without it, there is no point in an email campaign!?

Use power verbs.?

Don’t sound vague.

There should be value for the subscribers in where the CTA is taking them. (to lower bounce rates)

Email Templates Matter

They matter a lot! You need a good 4th of July email template to visually appeal to the audience. And there are a lot of ESPs providing email templates but what you need is an easy editing process. You need a pre-built copy and stock images to save time.?

Email templates should speak the spirit of the day and make your brand appear unique. It should have CTA buttons that are customizable too!

Try a traditional blue and red, stars, and stripes template design for the 4th of July email templates. Or go for a fun design that exudes youth and exploration. Whatever fits your brand image!

I hope this helped you out even a little!
