We all (should) know to prepare to answer questions properly on an interview. But, how prepared are you to ask smart questions on interviews?
How you respond to, "Do you have any questions?" matters - a lot!
Asking good questions in an interview gives you an opportunity to:
- stand out from the other candidates.
- get some inside info on whether this employer is a good fit for you.
The key is to use the 4Cs to guide you.
They are as follows:
1) Connect - ask questions about the hiring manager that relates to their own role at the company as a way to get to know her/him better.
2) Corporate Culture - inquire about the qualities and traits of people who are best suited to be a part of the company.
3) Company Challenges - identify roadblocks and concerns the company has in achieving its goals and how the job you are applying to will help overcome them.
4) Closing Conversation - find out if you have failed to provide any information that could help the hiring manager in their decision to choose you and get clear on the next steps in the hiring process.
When you ask questions related to these topics, and in this order, you will help the hiring manager see how intelligent and well-prepared you are.

1 年I like it. Though I never read it before, and asked some content questions and then the last C, it surprised my interviewers a lot) However, if we speak about being remembered, it could be the one.
