48-Hour World Record Attempt!
"Two teams will take on the huge challange to help raise awearness and funds for two local charities, please help to support by clicking on the link below"
Battle of the Heart and Mind is a Guinness world record attempt to break the longest game of non-stop touch rugby. The record which we aim to beat currently stands at 30 hours and 3 minutes. A record we previously attempted to beat in 2018 and missed out by seconds!
This year we aim to play for a massive 48 hours to raise important funds and awareness for this years chosen charities; Hull4Heroes and P.A.U.L. For Brain Recovery and in the process bringing together members and supporters from both charities, local businesses and communities to make this event a huge success.
Follow our page and event for all the exciting updates and announcements on this event and how you can support these two amazing charities and help us create a safer and healthier community.
As a keen rugby player, supporter of both charities, and a close friend of both Paul Spence and Paul Matson [founders of each of the individual charities] I was super keen to get involved and proud to have been asked onto the BOHAM Steering Committee to assist in the months of planning, promotion, and logistics that's involved in such a huge event.
Please make a donation of any amount, and/or turn up at the event [Hull University 3G pitches on Inglemire Lane] where we will be playing from 7pm on Friday 6th September to 7pm on Sunday 8th September, it's going to be a tough one, probably my toughest event yet but its only a weekend!, it's nothing compared to the challenges that the service users of both charities often have to face on a daily basis.
