470 Foot Poema Bridge Deck Pours Commence in Chatsworth

First 170 lineal feet of deck poured on a 470 lineal foot steel girder Poema bridge at Deerlake Ranch, Chatsworth. The two abutments sections plus the mid center span sections have to be poured first to maximize settlement and minimize cracking. The center span pour shown here will settle 4". Then the bent sections are poured last. Bridge deck should be poured out before the end of the month
