The ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group (ECOG-ACRIN) recently recognized 46 member networks and programs for outstanding achievement in accrual, scientific contribution, and administrative participation following the annual institutional research performance evaluation.
Annual performance evaluations ensure that member institutions meet rigorous standards to conduct cancer research with and through ECOG-ACRIN. This includes a formal audit and quality control assessment of nearly 140 hospital networks and programs, encompassing over 1,400 individual cancer centers and hospitals in total.
For 2023, commendations were awarded in various categories to the academic cancer centers, networks, and community-based programs listed below, with the name of each ECOG-ACRIN Principal Investigator.
The National Cancer Institute (NCI), part of the National Institutes of Health, supports ECOG-ACRIN and its members through its National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) and NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP).
