A 4:50 am dream (Humanity has to be above business, ALWAYS)

Before I start with the dream, let me introduce the characters*:

Samir: A 12 year old poor kid who lived in a slum and had lost his entire family in an accident, Ajay: A rich business man, Hari: A pigeon seller, and a pigeon (a rare colorful one)

*names are imaginary of-course, dream wasn't that detailed.

Let's start the dream:

One day Samir was going to his work (oh ! I missed telling that Samir worked in a tea stall and served tea to the nearby shopkeepers). On the way, he saw that a pigeon was lying on the road (probably pigeon was hit by some stone). Samir had a kind heart, he knew what life meant, so he carefully lifted the pigeon in the cloth he was carrying and rushed back to his home instead of going to work. After reaching home he cleaned all the blood and dirt from pigeon's wounds and carefully applied some turmeric paste on them (that was all he knew because his mother used to treat him in the same way whenever he had an injury). He didn't go to work for a few days and restlessly took care of the pigeon. (he was feeling as if the pigeon is his family member who met an accident). He couldn't sleep well for days until all the wounds healed and pigeon started to take little flights.

Here comes the entry of our next character: Hari

Hari used to stay opposite to Samir's house. He had been noticing all this that Samir found a rare colorful pigeon. All he was waiting for, was the day when pigeon recovered and started flying again. That day, Hari approached Samir and asked if he would like to sell the pigeon. He told Samir that pigeon was rare and a rich family wanted a pigeon like that. He was trying to convince Samir that he could get a handsome amount by selling that pigeon to that rich family. Hari was sure that Samir won't deny this offer and hence had already called Ajay (the rich business man) to come to Samir's house and collect the pigeon. Ajay wanted to gift that pigeon to his wife on her birthday and was ready to pay a handsome amount for that. When Hari and Samir were talking, Ajay arrived at Samir's house. He saw Hari trying to convince Samir to sell that pigeon and hence didn't interrupt them and kept standing outside (though he was watching them and listening to all the conversation Hari was having with Samir).

Hari's efforts to convince Samir were not making any impact on Samir. Samir held the pigeon very softly, kissed the pigeon, murmured "Take care and don't forget me, okay", held his hands high and gave a little push to pigeon to assist in flight towards the glowing blue sky. Hari turned into a stone for a while after watching what Samir did. Ajay saw that too and was shocked why Samir did so. He ran towards Samir and said why did you let the pigeon go, I was ready to pay you the amount you could not have even imagined for, for that pigeon.

Hold your breathe as you read what that 12 year old poor kid said to that rich businessman:

Samir: "Sir, that pigeon didn't belong to me, I found that lying on the road, wrapped in blood and dust. I took care until recovery and let go. I wasn't taking care because I wanted to sell that pigeon and earn profit. I was doing human, being a human. Not everything is for business, sir. Lives matter, be it yours, mine or that pigeon's. Humanity has to be above business, always, for a better world."

This isn't the end, hold on:

After listening to Samir, Ajay decided to take all the responsibilities of Samir, helped him to get good education. Samir too did work really hard and became a successful man. One day Samir asked Ajay out of curiosity, that I would like to be a successful business man like you, what's the best career path for me. Ajay said "Samir, I asked the same question to my father years back, and you know what he said?". Samir (with curious eyes): "Tell me what he said". Ajay: "He said Humanity, its the best career path one can follow, with lots of challenges, enough of scopes for improvement and learning, too less competition and a lot to be done.", "Thank you Samir, you reminded me that again when you let the pigeon go."
