44 Years Young - Celebrating With Love and Blessings

Dear friends,
My 44th birthday is one for the memory books.?It was, hands down, the best birthday I’ve had in recent memory.?It was a day of simple abundance, a sweet collection of moments with my family that gently made their way into my heart throughout the day, my eyes wide open to their sweetness. I was present for the receiving, too, which is sometimes hard, no? ?To be loved and to witness it coming your way is a significant gift itself – the gift of allowing, I suppose. I felt really loved.
My Mom was here, too, which was also lovely. Mom and I spent time reflecting on what use to be.??We recognized the last time I celebrated a birthday with my Mom was when I was 12 years old.? ?Man... where did the years go.? ?Getting to celebrate this 44th birthday with her, it felt like such a gift. Mr Bruno and Ms. Nala as well as my niece Haylee, was here also.??
I can feel and sense a big shift and it has something to do with turning 44. I know 44 is significant?and I can totally feel it. It feels like I’ve been navigating all sorts of choppy waters and storms the last year or so, slowly but surely trusting that the river would smooth out eventually. The timing?of my 44th with a new job, moving to a new city, starting a new relationship, while being so fortunate to have my family in my life and my two furbabies with me.. well, it feels like I've made it to smooth waters. Back to life, some would say. Not only is the river smooth, but the views are expansive and calming. Over the last three years since my divorce coming up on August 10th, I have worked a lot on finding myself leaning deep into gratitude versus my default “when is the shoe gonna drop” mentality.
Feels like good, worthy soul work.
Thank you to each of you who have followed me on my journey. my ups and downs.? ?Its time to get Back To Life. I am so, so grateful. Here’s to 44!??
