Some common terms used in the e-cigarette industry, due to the fact that many of them are originated from English. Some people sometimes have difficulty understanding them, so here is a list of some common terms that I have compiled to help you.

E-cigarettes and culture

1.Vape

Derived from the abbreviation of Vapour or Vaporize. A generic term for electronic cigarettes. Preferred by the e-cigarette industry because it literally distinguishes e-cigarettes from cigarettes, and was named " hot word of the year" by Oxford Dictionaries in 2014. The Chinese language has not yet invented an exact equivalent word.

4.PV

Private e-cigarette devices.Short for Personal Vaporizer. Broadly speaking, every electronic cigarette in a person's hand can be called a PV.

5.APV

Advanced Personal Vaporizer,these devices usually require the user to know something about battery safety, atomizer principles, ohm's law, etc. APVs can be marketed as regulated boxes, or mechanical cigarettes.

6.EDC

Abbreviation of Everyday carry, everyday carry object.

7.ADV

all day vape,this refers to a vape oil that you don't get tired of even after regular use. Taste in vaping oils is subjective, so it is possible that someone else's ADV may not be to your liking.

8.Vape Tricks

Generally refers to fancy spitting techniques. Such as smoke ring, jellyfish, dragon whiskers, tornado, etc.

9.Coil Art

Refers to the various winding processes of the heating wire, which are more popular among e-cigarette players.

10.MTL

Mouth to Lung,suitable for small smoke and quit smoking replacement people.

11.DL

Direct to Lung. It suitable for high power low ohm big smoke players.

12.MTN
