Covid-19 has changed a lot for all of us. As individuals, families, and businesses.

Uncertainty, fear, and anxiety are a part of many conversations I have heard and overheard!

Being an HR professional, a lot has changed in the way we are recruiting (YES! We are recruiting), employee management, payroll, and culture building.

While researching better culture practices in the workplace, I stumbled upon a brilliant conversation between my favorite Adam Grant and Scot Kelly, an astronaut that has been of 4 missions in space.

He drew a very nice parallel of this pandemic with the life of an astronaut.

What is the new abnormal for us, has been their normal for many years.

What caught my attention was when Scott spoke about the Art of Time Travel, in Psychology, it means rewinding to remember the past and fast-forwarding to envision the future.

Scott was envisioning how he wanted to feel. His goal was to get to the end with the same enthusiasm and ability and energy as he had in the beginning. 

If I had to relate this with what has happened with us at Telebu, 

Running a business has its ups and downs, but we have always thought of the best moments in the past where we enjoyed the success and failures.

This pandemic we were not shaken. We dream about how we will party in exotic places, open offices in various countries, and how we would feel to be a Billion Dollar Company!

I could relate to the time travel cos we have been doing that and that's what keeps us going.. while there are times when we feel disturbed but we consciously talk about the good times in the future.

One question that I always ask myself and now you all

• What would it feel like when this pandemic won't exist, what would you do during the 1st week of no COVID!
