Mr. Traulsen, owner of Traulsen refrigeration, took a chance on a 17 year old girl fresh out of high school. He paid for me to go to college, he let me into sales at a time when there were virtually no women selling in the food service industry and he gave me the foundation I needed to grow and succeed. 40 years later, my past has been touched by many people that have helped me, supported me and have become my friends. To all of you thank you. I hope along the way, I have repaid all of the kindness shown to me by helping others and being an inspiration to them. To those just starting out on life's journey I would share the words of wisdom Mr. Traulsen told me - believe in yourself.
