Since conditions call us to be at home with our families while we work, you need to encourage your team to focus on their friends and family as a number one priority. Urge parents to invest enough energy and time with their children and loved ones; advocate on their benefit for a solid work-life mix so they are getting the hours they have to fully satisfy their family needs. At the end of the day, remember, this pandemic is no man's mistake, therefore, let them take at least a small chunk of positive out of this. Doing so will assist them with reviving and reconnecting with their work with more vitality and core interest.

2. Keep your teams' position at the forefront of meetings

Things can move day by day for your workers in a period of emergency. When directing your virtual registration and gatherings, don't begin with the same old thing. Give every individual authorization and the opportunity to air things out. Request that every one monitors their own lives first. Two basic inquiries can be utilized to feel the temperature of your colleagues:

  • What's your present circumstance, and how are you feeling about it?
  • What are you presently doing to support yourself? What do you need? What else would we be able to accomplish for one another?
"At the present time, our survival feelings are out in plain view. As pioneers, we, as leaders, have to meet individuals where they are, and be happy to show empathetic understanding on how they are currently exploring this unknown state of their career and life"

says Nichole Kelly, VP Marketing at Windward Consulting.

Kelly focuses on the significance of psychological well-being administrations being offered to employees and practices like breathing activities and meditations being shared on the web.

"It isn't sufficient to give them your telephone number - leaders must show empathy by showing acceptance towards their feelings, for example, anxiety, nervousness, dissatisfaction, anger, and sadness in conditions such as these. Together, we should shift the way we think, how we communicate, and how we lead"

clarifies Kelly.

Set up your business calls and online group gatherings by urging individuals to grasp the occasion, to share their feelings and emotions. It's fundamentally significant now like never before for colleagues to remain sincerely connected and not disengage from each other.

3. Keep your team engaged and connected online

Try to replicate your normal working environment in an online setting. You can even setup weekly or monthly town hall e-meetings to update your team. Or simply tell them how much you appreciate them doing everything they can to keep your business/department running during this Pandemic.Dr. Hossein Ranhama, CEO of Flybits, has come up with an excellent idea of e-business-lunches. That practice is in place especially for those who work in the same department, to ensure they stay connected.

Nobody cancelled team buildings! Even during this pandemic, you can come up with ideas to do with your team after working hours. For example, you can order food to be delivered to each employee and host a team dinner online. Or, if your budget doesn't allow, you can see who is interested in doing so and paying it by themselves. How about virtual happy hour? Sky is the limit here.

4. Allow your team talk business

During the time of Pandemic, don't be a"voice of a reason" just because you can. Remember, your team is still a core part of your business, and make sure to consult with them and get their opinions before taking any major business decisions.

Let your team speak up, raise their concerns, voice their ideas and take action. This is the best way to get your creative and strategic thinkers talk and hear different perspectives to problems and possibly major decisions and their outcomes.
