1 Practice empathy.

Here is an example. When colleagues are late or fail to show up fro a meeting, don’t start by demanding a nexplanataion. Start by asking if everything is okay. Is a child sick, overwhelmed with work, they are facing foreclosure. Try to understand why they didn’t show up fro the meeting instead of attacking them right away or firing them.

Whether it’s about a pevious incident about an employee that serves as a warning or an updated budget, send the info before the other person needs it

People trust those whom. They believe trust them. It is a reciprocal effect that is hard wired in most people

5 Set the tone

How you interact with your team often sets the tone for everyone else. Especially pay attention to the tone at the start of a vritual meeting
