Explain why you’re interested in the work the company does

Describing your passion for their work is a basic way of explaining what has made you apply for a job.

Explain why you’d like carrying out the tasks you’ll be doing

Describing the enjoyment you’d get from the specific responsibility and activities that you’d be doing shows that you’ll be an enthusiastic worker.

Explain why you think you’ll succeed

Describing the specific aptitude you have for the job and why you think that will set you up for success shows what you think you’ll be producing at the job.

Use any or all of these together

If you can give the employer an idea of what you like about the company in general, why you’d like doing the tasks you’ll have and why you’ll be successful, you’ve given them a wide look at why you’re a good hire.
