4 Tips For Posting Positivity
I met with a prospective client over the weekend and he blew me away. We had initially met a couple of years ago in a business meeting where I was presenting for the city of Chattanooga. It was good to have lunch and catchup on what he had been doing since that 2019 meeting.
To my surprise, he told me that one meeting changed him forever. He went back to college and was in the midst of finishing his master's degree and preparing for his doctorate. What?
He told me how the positive words I spoke that day lit a fire under him and he used those words to fuel his next steps. He enrolled in college and graduated. In addition, he started applying for various jobs he would have never applied for before because while he was great at his chosen trade, he felt his lack of education would not allow him to enter certain doors in his career.
After meeting with him, I was so inspired and grateful to meet someone who's life had been changed after meeting me. That is truly why I feel we are here...to inspire each other, to lift each other up and to help each other live the best version of their lives.
I love positive stories and always include them in my speaking engagements. After speaking with him, I now want to make sure I use my platform to encourage others to share their positivity online, especially as the seasons change and as some may need an additional boost during the more darker months of the year. Your positive stories may be just what helps someone become their best selves.
We really have no idea how our positive words will impact someone else's life and set them on their journey toward their own success. As the skies start to get a little darker, I challenge my readers to become the beacon of light in someone else's day.

According to an article shared on Berkley's website (berkley.edu), "Feeling inspired gives us energy we did not think we had and pushes us to think beyond pursuing our self-interest to helping others.?Research [at the National Library of Medicine]?shows that feeling inspired has a direct impact on our well-being, which makes it an important experience to seek out for those striving to live a fulfilled life."
In closing, go ahead...share your positive posts and help brighten the day of people you may not ever know you have inspired until years later.
