4 TIPS FOR LEARNING TO DELEGATE AT WORK
Tip for the week! It's time for another exciting edition of...
Swift Staffing Group's Tip . This week, We're focusing on: 4 TIPS FOR LEARNING TO DELEGATE AT WORK
1
Understand that being a manager is a different job. You need to change your mindset and realize that there is a difference between “doing” and “managing,” and it’s important to figure out what it means to manage.
2
Understand which tasks you should delegate. There will be some high-level work that you need to do yourself; assess carefully exactly what those tasks are and don’t do things that you shouldn’t.
3
Be clear when you delegate. It’s very important to convey clearly what you’re asking someone to do, when you need it done, and what kind of decision-making you’re leaving to that person.
4
Give good feedback afterward. Celebrating the work that someone else has done may not come naturally to you, but you need to acknowledge their work and show that you understand their product.
