Create space for in-person meetings. Even if you have a largely work-from-home model, adding some opportunities for in-person meet-ups can help create cohesion and a greater sense of connection.

Find a way to incentivize work. Although pay alone is an incentive, finding a way to give added rewards for good work, such as some kind of profit-sharing, can increase workers’ investment in their jobs.

Help employees develop their careers. When workers feel stagnant, they will never give you their best work; offering them a pathway forward will enable them to do great work right now, too.
