4 Tips To Get Back At It

4 Tips To Get Back At It

Can you believe Summer 2024 is here already?

How are those 2024 goals looking—especially your health goals??

I promised myself 50 yoga sessions in 2024, and here at week 22, I'm only at 14. That's an F, so?I feel your pain if you're falling behind.

Pre-Summer Health Strategy Zoom

They don't teach "6-minute abs" at 美国哈佛商学院 , but they do teach strategy. To prep?for the summer, I'm co-hosting a health strategy call with my health coach, Darryl Evanetich .

We’ll break down the essentials, like nutrition, cardio, fat-burning, and fasting. We'll also give you mindset hacks for how to have an intentional and low-stress summer.

If interested in attending, please comment below 'HEALTH' and I'll message you with the details.

Four Tips to Get 2024 Back on Track

1. Measure Specific Outcomes:

It's easier to hit a target you can see.

Instead of a nebulous "get healthy," set concrete goals like "exercise 3x a week". You can’t manage what you can’t measure—true in business and in health.

2. Leverage an Accountability Group:

After my Valhalla Ascend retreat in October 2023, we created a WhatsApp group to keep folks accountable. Shockingly, it’s still active daily over 6 months later - proof that daily check-ins can work. It’s not about peer pressure; it’s about inspiration, constant reminders, and shared journeys.

Tip: Don’t rely on family to be your coach; their feedback might be well-meaning but often lacks the necessary punch.

3. Seek Expert Guidance:

If you have more money than time, shortcut your way to success. Invest in expertise. Here’s where I’ve placed my bets:

  • Longevity coach: 2x per month for the past year
  • Life coach: 2x per month for 14 out of the last 17 years
  • A personal trainer (Kelvin!): whenever I’ve been in NYC for the past 10 years
  • Physical therapist: 1x per week when I’m in Stockholm
  • Pilates instructor: 1x per month when I’m in Utah

4. Set a Deadline:

Deadlines make the world go round. They’re simple yet effective.

I set December 17th, 2024, as my deadline to complete 50 yoga classes. This makes it easy to check if I’m on track each week.

Remember, the hard part isn’t setting the goal.

The hard part is creating an actionable plan, setting deadlines, and tracking progress until you hit the mark.?
