It’s easier to act nastily towards someone you aren’t seeing regularly in person, but if you educate employees beforehand, you can stymie bad behavior.

Make sure workers don’t feel like they got a bad deal.

Hybrid workplaces often have a schedule for when different people have to be in the office, and some workers may feel like they are being forced to cover for others.

Find ways to create more trust.

One of the casualties of more extensive remote work is that there is less of the trust that develops when people work together in person.

Create ways to identify and correct problems quickly.

Remote work can make it hard to know if something is going wrong, and hard to fix it; you need a system in place to deal with that.
