4 Time-Management Tips I Learnt from Managing Tritek Consulting Limited

I have come to learn that If you can manage your time effectively, you will excel. However, your time management methods will depend a bit on your personality and lifestyle. With the time I have spent building and managing Tritek, here are some of the time management tricks that have worked for me. 

Have a To-do list that provides you a bird’s-eye view of all you need to get done in a day or in a week. Your bit will then be to begin crossing it off one after the other. This trick helps you do your tasks without the stress and anxiety that comes with a chaotic method. There is also a sense of fulfillment that comes with checking off each item.

Prioritize your tasks. The goal is to be efficient and highly productive. This will be dependent on your ability to have the most needed tasks done as and when due. It isn’t efficient favouring a low-priority task over a high-priority one. Learn how to assign weights to each item on your to-do list. 

Focus! There will be distractions both from your personal and professional life. Don’t let anything sway you. Outside emergencies, nothing should get you off the track of your carefully planned and demanding to-do list. 

Conduct and facilitate meetings within the time frame given. Nothing comes close to being a time waster than meetings that drag on longer than they need to be.
