1. Gratitude: This is the source of positive energy. The more we are grateful for things we have in life, the more we feel accomplished.

* I wrote a thank you note to a director and landed a job offer the next day
Task : Send gratitude email / SMS / WhatsApp message to friends or loved ones who have helped you. Do share their reaction with me.
2. Lead by Example: We as leaders must follow the best ways to impact people around us. We must take 100% responsibility of taking doing things rather than telling people to do them.
* I want to save electricity, start using minimum power while at work
* While teaching something do audit whether I am doing it or not
Task : Start re-filling your water bottle or carry your own handbag
3. Stop fear of looking stupid: Many a time we stop sharing the truth or don't ask a question because we may feel that it is such a small thing to ask, what people will think about me.

* I have worked with a great scientist and I have seen him asking for help with MS Office. It is always appreciable to be authentic than to fake around.
* Always share feedback if that can help. One of the top Business Man visited a college and he was not satisfied with the project students did. He gave a clear indication that I was expecting something like a real solution to the problem and not just projects.

4. Have an exit strategy for your role: You have started a role and that must have a clear end day in your mind as it helps you in giving your best.
* Always keep in mind the goal you are trying to achieve with your desired role and once the purpose is over move to the next project/challenge
* When I worked with a Top college I made it very clear about my contribution from day 1, when everything was working fine I took my next move to take on bigger challenge.
Task : Plan your exit strategy and be very clear about your next plan.
