4 Steps to Business Growth on Social Media
Social media has become a big part of most business's marketing strategies. Business owners have recognized the importance of social media, and its ability to build brand recognition, create a following of loyal fans, and grow your business! With over 2 billion users, you can reach and connect with your target audience around the world.
So how can YOU use social media to bring leads to your business? Get them to your website! I'll go over my 4 tips to getting more engagement and click-throughs for your business.
1. Optimize your social media profiles!
This should be the very first thing you do, as your profile can be one of the first things people look at. Having a good foundation in place is vital!
When optimizing your social profiles, fill out as much content as you possibly can. This can include your business number, your address, email, and most important of all, your website.
Now when it comes to your about section or bio, be clear and to the point. There have been many times that I have gone to a business's Facebook page, only to find that...I'm not entirely sure what your business does?
Use the about section to give your potential followers a clear and concise overview of what you do.
2. Use CTAs to persuade your followers to click through to your website.
You spend what seems like forever carefully crafting the perfect post, you go to publish, and then wait anxiously for the engagement...but wait, where is it?
It is crucial to add CTAs, otherwise known as a call-to-action, to your posts! Telling people what you want them to do will increase your engagement by up to 2.85x. Try to persuade your followers to action, whether that be likes, comments, or clicks, simply add phrases such as: "learn more," or "visit my site."
3. Are you posting at optimal times?
Have you ever noticed more engagement on posts on certain days or at certain times? This is because it is likely that more of your followers are online during this time.
Get people to your profile, and to your website, by posting at this time. 4. Share, share, share your content!
You put your heart into your content, so make sure you get it out to the world to see! Take those blog posts you've been writing, why keep them hidden away, share them EVERYWHERE!
Share that blog post across all of your social platforms, and don't be afraid to change it up a bit. Change your copy and image up, perhaps grab some different quotes and add a CTA to click through to the blog article, find what works best for your followers!
