4 stages of experiential learning cycle

  1. Concrete Experience: This is the stage where the learner actively participates in an experience or activity. They engage in hands-on, real-world experiences and encounter new situations.
  2. Reflective Observation: After the experience, the learner reflects on what happened and what they observed during the experience. They take time to think about what worked, what didn't, and what they could have done differently.
  3. Abstract Conceptualization: In this stage, the learner tries to make sense of the experience by connecting it to existing knowledge, theories, or concepts. They analyze and synthesize information, and look for patterns and connections.
  4. Active Experimentation: In this final stage, the learner uses the insights gained from the previous stages to develop and test new hypotheses or theories. They try out new approaches or strategies, and evaluate the results of their actions to see if they achieved their intended outcomes.
