?A value for Health & Wellness? Supporting families with positive healthy lifestyle solutions to optimise well-being and celebrate the individual needs of both the individuals and family dynamics, so everyone can thrive.
As an industry, I don't think there has ever been a greater need for the support, education and services provided by those of us in the areas of health, fitness and wellness.
For those wanting to empower and impact others in their journey, now is the time we are needed the most.
There are people struggling emotionally, those feeling isolated, those dealing with changes to their usual routines, gotten off track, experiencing difficulty adapting to new conditions or some might look Ok from the outside but struggling on the inside.
Our help and support is needed by our clients, our communities and those we reach with our message, to help them navigate the change, challenge and uncertainty of current times. To empower people through honouring and prioritising their health, emotional well being and overall wellness, feeling connected and supported in moving forward with confidence.
Here are four key things I think we all need to keep in mind with our clients, those we serve and within our reach to impact.
* Communication - connecting with people, so that they are hearing your voice or seeing your face, knowing you are there and that you care. Simply checking in, having a chat or asking how you can be of service to them.
* Asking for Feedback - if you have pivoted, changed your services or been doing things in a new way over the last few months, ask them how they are finding it, how they think it could be improved, what else they would like to see offered, which could help you refine, improve or add to how you are supporting and serving them.
* Update progress or needs - keep checking in to see what their current needs and goals are, these may have changed or continue to change quicker than normal at the moment so make sure you stay on top of it to support them in the best way which will have the most impact on them.
* Added value – where can you offer more help and support especially for those really struggling. What’s in your tool box you can utilise, or where can you recommend or refer to with your network, connections or community that have resources or programs that would help.
It’s often the little things done well, with care that can have the biggest impact on others.
