4 Simple Ways to Spot Leads on LinkedIn

Are you struggling to find leads for your business?

One way to do this is by creating content that engages and informs your audience.

Then you are stuck!

"What's the next move? How do I know who shows interest in my business services or not?"

Look no further! Here are 4 simple ways to spot leads on your LinkedIn profile & content!

So, let's dive in...

Tip #1: Set a time to check your Engagement Metrics

Track the engagement on your LinkedIn post. Look for the people who comment, like, and share your post. Send them a thank you for sharing, liking, and spending time commenting on your post. Reach out with a personalized Connection Request referring to the post they engaged with. This is ONLY applicable if you are targeting a relevant audience. Avoid pods. Start building your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

Tip #2: Develop Lead Magnets

Are you posting a ton of FREE resources?

Don't be shy to ask for something in return from your audience. It's called #reciprocity and people love to pay you back.

FUN FACT: Asking doesn't limit you to your audience's email alone. You can also ask them to tag you on their next post (UGC or User Generated Content) to improve your personal branding, you can ask them to invite you on their podcast or feature you on their company post. The sky is the limit. All you need to do is ask!

Whoever gives back to you is a true ambassador and could become your next warm lead. So keep those contacts warmed up!

Tip #3: Experiment with your Surveys and Polls

Are you scared about the performance and relevance of your content?

Ask your audience directly what they need and want!

This information can help you tailor your content and offerings to better serve them. The smart thing about this is that those who responded to your polls are giving you hints on what they prefer. Also create a habit of ending a Post with 1 or 2 questions, to spark new ideas for your next post!

Amazing right?

And lastly, Tip #4: Check the "Who Viewed Your Profile"

There is no better way to check who is interested in YOU, than this feature.

Send them a message, follow, connect, and engage with their content.

How? Here is an example template:

Hi Paul,
Thanks for viewing my profile. Was it something I said (or wrote), an article, a mutual connection, (y)our passion for LinkedIn or Social Selling or just pure luck? Anyway, I would like to connect with you and share valuable insights.
Best regards, Richard
