During the day we can experience an enourmous amount of transitions that go from feeling really good, to being down...
...from knowing that you have to do it but not wanting to do it.
From procrastination to sometimes Stress. From doing something good to doing something reluctantly.
Here are 5 simple ways to beat that and be at your Peak Performance:
1. EXERCISE DURING THE WORK DAY.
I know that we hear about working out in the mornings and all that. That is great...
...but what if I told you that moving and stretching a little during the day will help you maintain in those levels of High Energy?
It is not that you have to take weights to the office and and lift them from time to time (would be fun to do though, haha).
Just doing a couple of squads and push-ups along the way will drastically get you back on track.
2. CREATE POSITIVE PRESSURE.
Let others know about that long list of things to do for the day and ask them to hold you accountable. Ask them to follow up with you about it.
Also, create deadlines and End-Times for your working day that will push you to take action and have much less distractions.
3. REPROGRAM YOUR MIND IN THE TRANSITIONS.
One of the most powerful exercises you can ever do is generating energy in the transition of finishing a task and starting another.
This is an exercise used by sages. Professional athletes. CEOs and even a founding father of the US like Benjamin Franklin .
Brendon Buchard in his High Performance Habits Book call it: Release Tension, Set Intention.
For 1 minute or 2 you close your eyers and while taking some deep breaths you repeat the word ''Release'' and let go the tension (big or small) you may have in your body...
...then you imagine yourself doing the next activity at your best, being energized, focused and all-in. You even ask yourself: ''How am I gonna feel after finishing this task powerfully''.
After opening your eyers, you are gonna at an amazing level of Focus.
4. BREAK -CYCLES
Standing up, taking a walk and having a stop every 45 minutes-1 hour is crucial to be at your best.
Please, don't be there for 3 hours straight trying to get some focus.
That concentration is going to come back after taking a break and coming back
