#4 Sales Transfromation Recap
Happy Saturday everyone! ??
This week we dropped four new solo episodes and one guest interview. I love dropping the solo episodes because they give listeners short but focused topics. Wednesday was my 35th Birthday and I have made it a habit of looking back at the highlights of the previous 365 days.
We had another Epic week of ?? on Sales Transformation and here is your recap. ??
1. On Monday we dropped a solo episode on Increasing Close Rates.
Be disciplined with what deals you let in your pipeline. Running a good discovery will allow you to identify deals that will actually move down the sales process and end up in the win column. Each seller can only work so many deals and working on deals that don't have a real problem to solve or don't value solving the problem take your attention away from qualified deals that you risk losing as well.
Ask yourself this before logging the opportunity"Is this deal qualified, did I do a proper discovery, and did I miss anything?
2. On Tuesday we dropped a solo episode on knowing who is NOT your ICP.
People often talk about buyer personas and ideal customer profiles but people don't talk enough about who you should NOT work with. Sellers should start to respect their time and their pipeline to better focus on the right deals.
Ask yourself this " Are we best to serve this prospect?"
3. On Wednesday we dropped a solo episode on how sellers can become creators.
The first thing you can do before you get started is to become more of a content consumer. This will give some ideas and see how you can get started. Start to think about the value you can provide and the opportunity to share ideas and experiences. You will start to have a level of awareness of things that you can share that others can get value from.
Ask yourself this " Would this be helpful to others, how can I add value?"
4. On Thursday we dropped a solo episode on LETTING GO.
Sales can be a tuff gig, we deal with lots of ups and downs and constant rejection. This can be an emotional rollercoaster. The thing that I have found to really work is to just LET GO. It can be hard at times but we have to remember that our self-worth is not tied to numbers.
Think about this " I am more than my number"
5. On Thursday we dropped an episode on personal branding and sales leadership with Troy Barter
Troy was a blast on the show, he had a ton of energy and some great tactical tips. Troy has built a massive personal brand in a short time and a ton of success as a sales leader by really investing in his team which helped build the foundation to scale.
If your a sales leader ask yourself " Have I built a proper foundation with my team?"
That's it for this edition of the?Sales Transformation Recap.
