4 reasons why physical activity is beneficial for individuals with ADHD of all ages.
1. Movement facilitates cognition (attention)
2. Higher cognitive demand during exercise improves inhibition
3. 30 minute morning walk/exercise in the sun (ideally without sunglasses for the full effect but check with a health care professional if this is right for you)
4. Learning Skills: when learning skills short practice sessions are better and there is also an advantage to evening practice.
