The 4-R Game Changer!

An excerpt from my Cambridge International Certification in Teaching and Learning (CICTL).....

'The purpose of various types of assessments has surfaced its significance to me. I am able to outline the key features that make a lesson effective and learning efficient. I have groomed in terms of coherent lesson planning with clear aims and objectives. I now effusively appreciate the value of; suitable teaching and learning methods, activities and resources, sharing learning intentions and success criteria, assessments at appropriate stages, evaluation personal learning based on learners feedback and use wide variety of teaching and learning approaches. All the new knowledge and skills acquired unleashed the importance of intercepting with the very mind-set of learners and then planning to teach accordingly.

I was able to devise my own 4-R strategy of teaching a lesson as well that consists of ‘respond, reflect, revise and reinvent’. I learnt numerous learning and teaching models and theories based on which I will be always able to practice, improvise, assess and gauge learning of my learners. I can easily keep track of my learners’ progress and develop my own activities which aid in dealing with the age cohort I teach. Above all I am to transform into a facilitator to stimulate creativity, comprehension, analysis and catalyze the process of learning.

that's really helpful... facilitator's role is to analyse what students are learning... that's the ultimate accomplishment
