4 out of 10 African solar projects include storage in 2024

Based on the analysis of AFSIA's database of 26,000+ solar projects across Africa, storage is playing an increasingly important role for PV in Africa, with more than 40% of all C&I projects installed recently now including storage. This growth is being driven by the storage boom in South Africa and a rebound of projects including storage in the rest of the continent.
