4 major news to share with you

Today, I've got 4 major news to share with you.

First, iRaiser, the company I've co-founded in 2012 has now raised over 1B€ for nonprofits through more than 11 million donations. 1 B€ is a major and symbolic milestone that I'm very proud to have reached.

Second, I've decided to resign as CEO of iRaiser and quit iRaiser. I've worked very hard and done my very very best since the beginning, made a lot of sacrifices, never count the time I've spent during nights, weekends to help raise more money for nonprofits but I have no regret so far. I'm very proud of what the company has accomplished and what has become. With close to 50 full-time employees, iRaiser is today a known and renowned company in the fundraising industry, that manages up to 25 languages, 135 currencies, and has the daily trust of more than 500 top international and local nonprofits. I would like to thank everybody who has helped me to make this happen. Thank you so much for everything you've done. It has been an honor and a pleasure to work with you all. I'm first thinking to my team (from the 1st employee to the last one) and the different freelances I've worked with. I do know that you were most of the time behind the scene but you really were the ones that have made the show work and go on. I'm also thinking also to our different clients and partners from now more than 20 different countries, the donors from all over the world and last but not least our competitors that have forced me to be better, smarter, quicker. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Again, you've been all an incredible source of pride, joy, happiness, inspiration, and stimulation. 

Third, I want to give back and I've decided to give 50.000€ to different nonprofits and I've asked them to invest this money only for their staff, their fundraising, their communication. It's also very simple but a nonprofit can not grow and reach its goals without an appropriate staff that makes some significant investments in fundraising and communication, that innovates and takes some risks. On my side, I do not care about their ratio or how much they're paid or how much they invest, I only care about their impact. As donors or potential donors, I invite you to do the same. 

Fourth and last, I will take a break for the next coming months and enjoy my friends and family but I want to invest in the coming months 500.000€ as a business angel and private investor on some projects that will contribute to make our planet a better place to live for all of us.
