4 Last-Minute Tax Write-Offs for Painters

4 Last-Minute Tax Write-Offs for Painters

If you’re like so many painters I coach, this has been your best year ever from a personal income standpoint.

While that’s great, it does create a problem: You’re going to owe a lot of money in taxes!

With only 3 days left until 2022, what are you doing to reduce your taxable income?

Many painters will go out and buy equipment – vans, ladders, pressure-washers and sprayers.

Others will load up on sundries and commonly used paint (if you can find it.)

However, in the end, these are all things that simply cost money – even though they will be expensed against future painting jobs. They do not produce income.

There is another category of write-offs: Things that help you make more money – forever.

Here are 4 you might consider now, before you run out of time in 2021...

1 – The Painting Profits Summit – This can be a tax-deductible vacation for you and your family to sunny Weston, Florida where you’ll learn from the most successful painting contractors in the world (that’s not an exaggeration.)

It only takes one good idea, tool or system to add tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars into your back pocket. It’s 100% tax-deductible. However, room rate discounts expire on January 3rd, so book now if you are interested. You can also attend virtually! Click here for more details: https://bit.ly/3FvOHb2

2 – Hire a Business Coach – You only get one shot to leave a legacy with your painting business. While trial and error can get you to the top if you are willing to fail faster, it makes more sense to get an outside perspective from someone who can provide you with the tools, systems and wisdom to succeed – without enduring the school of hard-knocks.

3 – Upgrade Your Website & Get Digital Help – If your website is looking more like 2002 instead of 2022, you might consider giving it a facelift. Are you ignoring your past clients? 4 – Join the Painters Purchasing Group – If you’ve watched your paint prices go up and up, maybe it’s time to stop buying your paint alone. You always get a better price when you buy with a group. Find out how our group can save you an average of 35% on paint, sundries and other services.

In the end, most painters try and “save themselves” into prosperity doing the same old things the same old way. Sadly, it doesn’t work. How could it?

If you want 2022 to be a different year, you must take a different approach.

If you have questions on any of this, simply reply to this post and I’ll set aside time to speak with you.

However, if you’re going to decide before year-end, reply today so I can squeeze you in!

There are only 3 days left in 2021!

Wishing You a Happy, Successful New Year!
