Setting and achieving goals can be quite intimidating for various reasons. Whether you’re setting a personal or professional goal, one main key in succeeding is being realistic about the goal and your ability to achieve it. Today I want to share with you 4 key steps to follow when setting realistic goals:
1. Be Clear with your Goal and Plan of Action – You can’t be ambiguous when setting goals. Unclear goals mean unclear results.
2. Be Measurable – Make sure you have a way to measure your goals and track your progress regularly.
3. Be Consistent – Incorporate steps in achieving your goals on a daily or weekly basis to ensure they don’t get swept under the rug.
4. Be Rewarding – Don’t let the little wins go unappreciated. Each steppingstone in achieving your overall goal is progress to be proud of.
