4 Fun Things To Do This Easter!
Easter is a great occasion to lift your spirits up and spend some quality time with your children and loved ones. Although this year we all are having tough times due to the outbreak of Covid-19, being stuck at home isn’t so bad.
It is how you decide to spend your time, doing things that can be simple and fun that can bring you contentment and build better relationships. You don’t need to get expensive toys or equipment to try some of the ideas in this article. Just be creative and recycle things, plan enjoyable activities that are productive for you and your family.
Crafty Bunnies and Easter Eggs
Get your creative juices together and use whatever you can find in your house. If you can’t buy toys, make some with your kids, nieces or nephews. You just need a few art supplies; some pieces of art paper in different colours, buttons, beads or anything else to stick them on the bunnies.
You can even paint the paper if you have plain white paper. Draw from your imagination with markers and pens and roll the drawings in cylindrical shapes. If you have leftover toilet paper inserts you can put them to good use.
If you have paper cups or paper plates, or tissue rolls use them as little shapes for bunny faces.
Even Easter Eggs are quite fun to make. Use egg shaped stones from your garden, or collect some on your walk, and paint them as you’d like.
Create a new recipe Easter Recipes
Easter goes with chocolate more than anything else. I know you can’t go out to get most of your favourite dessert. Why not use this occasion to find some delightful recipes and experiment with different ingredients you have at home.
We all love those scrumptious chocolate easter eggs. If you have too many of them, melt the extras to make icing for your cakes or cupcakes. You can also use the melted chocolate for chocolate milkshakes, or drizzle over your pancakes for breakfast.
Use cereals or rice krispies for easter nests which are one of the best home-made treats kids and older people will enjoy. This is no bake, no hassle recipe that can even be made with the leftover easter eggs. It helps pass the time and you’re getting delicious treats at the end of it!
Go out for a walk
Now this may sound a bit strange given the current circumstances. But you can get some fresh air if you know the right places. Find a nice route within 2 km range of your area where you can get some fresh air.
The quarantine has kept us away from nature. Why not use this opportunity to go out with all the precaution to view the sky and destress ourselves from the present chaos. You can even meditate in a silent place.
Build a positive attitude and make resolutions for future this Easter
Everything may seem bleak at the moment but research suggests that when you have bigger goals, you are motivated to look forward. Now is the perfect time to get the diary out and get planning.
We must thank life for the little lights in the form of our families, children, our work and our good health.
We are always thinking of those who are standing in the frontline against Covid-19. We cannot thank you enough for everything you are doing.
We wish everyone a very Happy Easter and hope you all have a fun and safe bank holiday weekend.
You can make the treats, eat them, go walk them off and collect rocks for when you get back! Win win??
