Today, we're going to explore the concept of being fully committed from an energetic perspective. Often, we find ourselves holding back in our experiences and applications to specific tasks. We may know what needs to be done, but it feels like we're walking up the wrong end of an escalator. Our energy levels might be low, or our foundations seem a bit unstable. Consequently, we withhold our full presence and reserve our energy for training, upcoming challenges, or the day ahead. It's as if we're telling ourselves, "I just need to get through it."
However, this approach can be misleading. When we meet each moment fully charged, something remarkable happens. We tap into an emergent motivation that fuels us with additional energy, enabling us to be fully committed to the task at hand. This increased efficiency means we waste less energy and can build momentum from being fully charged for every moment. While it's not always easy to feel fully charged all the time, taking appropriate measures like getting enough sleep and managing our day can help us structure our lives to maximise our energy potential.
In any given moment, our capacity to accomplish more is greater than we realise. Imagine a wolf chasing us across a mountaintop – we would likely find the energy to run for 24 hours straight. So, even when we feel exhausted and believe we lack the energy to excel, there's untapped potential within us. Most of the time, we fall short of our best simply because we aren't meeting the moment fully charged.
Here's my challenge to you today: no matter how tired you may feel, gather yourself and embrace the task at hand. Become fully present, focus your energy, and charge yourself up. Get yourself pumped up and ready to give it your all. I encourage you to try this approach and let us know how it goes. You might be surprised to discover that, by being fully charged and embracing each moment, you have more energy than you initially thought.
