# 4: Four Maturity Levels of BIM

In a construction project, a shared collaboration has different levels, which are termed as maturity levels. At present, there are 4 levels that are identified to set up separate millstones so that the construction industry completely works in a collaborative way. Each level has no exact scope defined but definitely defines certain phases. The construction supply chain has certain capability to function and share information, with regards to the same levels of maturity is defined.
