4 Easy-to-Learn Public Speaking Skills That You Need

1.E – Energize: whether the audience is 1 or 1000 be at your peak energy level because that energy will be transferred to your audience. If your energy level is low then you’ll bring your audience's energy down. As a result, they won't much pay attention to you and will be hoping for you to sit down or leave. You do this by gradually building the energy in the room and once the audience ia energized you move on to entertain. In our public speaking seminars we teach you how.

2.E – Entertain: If the audience is having fun while you are educating the audience on your subject you’ll easily keep their attention. So the goal is to keep them entertained and at the same time share your information. You want the audience to leave and say, “I am glad I had the chance to spend some time with that person.” Even if they weren’t fully interested in what you were teaching or selling.

3.E – Educate: Inspire your audience by giving them high-quality educational value. You want to leave them feeling inspired, better informed and more educated on the subject than when they arrived.

4. C - Confidence: This comes from practice and experience. If you don′t feel 100% confident if you are truly prepared then at least act as if you felt confident. Check out my visualisation techniques training for how to overcome the fear of public speaking.

?

5. P – Prepare: for your presentation as if every word you say will be quoted later in the press. Imagine it′ll be your last presentation and legacy that you will leave behind. This will help make you and your presentation shine as your audience deserves. Most well-known public speakers will practice a speech la least 40-50 times. That’s a fact because i know many of them.

?

6. B - Save the best for last: because if you show the best first everything else you present and talk about will be compared to the best and look worse. You gradually build up excitement, it′s kinda like sex. ??

Really like this tip Don: "Prepare for your presentation as if every word you say will be quoted later in the press."?My background is in public relations. I've prepared CEOs for reporter interviews. And we're always thinking about the story we want the reporter and our audience to take away from the article. In my experience, most business professionals deliver data dumps in monotone. They're not thinking about the story they want their audience to walk away with afterward. Love how this raises the stakes and adds urgency.
