4-days-working week

As you may well be informed, Card Compact and their German sister company, P24, have introduced a 4-day working week (32 hours per week) for their staff which has been in effect since 01.01.2022; the salaries remain unchanged. After implementing the structured time management, we can say that it has been a complete success. Here are a few notable points:

• staff are much more motivated and resilient;
• staff take less sick days and are more energised; and
• coordinate personal and medical appointments appropriately.

Also, we are in a stronger position to hire and retain young talent; and moreover, have seen a significant improvement in work productivity.

As a small company, currently 16 employees, we were faced with a multitude of challenges and managed well to ride out turbulent times. As always, it is our goal to provide quality products and services, but changes are inevitable which can impact you as our partner. Some of our employees work Monday thru Thursday, and others from Tuesday thru Friday. Due to banking holidays and some other unexpected events, there is of course a need for backup staff for marginal days. In order to minimise this problem, we have decided that from 12.12.2022 all departments and all employees will only work from

Monday thru Thursday (core business hours 9 am to 5 pm German time).
