The 4 Bs for building a profitable list

If it were up to me, I’d hand you a list of 10,000 people to kick-start your business… but that wouldn’t be fair to you.

For one, wit would need to be in the right niche, but...

You need to learn the principles of building, creating and engaging your readers.

However, the good news is that by following a few simple steps you can create a huge business for yourself.

That is, if it’s list building you want to do. You can also choose paid affiliate marketing.

It’s a process – remember, create a process for everything.

If you build an email list, it’s an asset that can work for you in years to come.

Let me break down these simple steps for you.

The four Bs to building your list:

  • Book
  • Build
  • Blog
  • Broadcast

Your book – you don’t have to write a book to build a list, but it really helps. It isn’t daunting and can be done in 48 hours or less. And, you actually won’t do much writing either. It’s a very simple process.

Build – use your book to gather names of people who are interested in your topics. There are several ways to do this.

Blog – give people great information at least once a week via a blog. As you likely know, I’ve gone to five days a week recently. I did once a week for two years, but feel I can provide even more value by doing this daily. You can choose anywhere in between, but at least once a week.

Broadcast – no matter the size of your list, broadcast your posts every time you create one. Let your readers know you have something new to say.

Yep, it really can be that simple to build a list of people interested in whatever it is you want to build your business around.
