#4 – All the catastrophes so far

Creating a brand or starting any entrepreneurial endeavour brings with it a ton of unforeseen catastrophes. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the ones we have faced so far, in no particular order

It has been constant chasing, phone calls, emails and quite a few angry WhatsApp messages that have helped us solve all the issues below.

1. Luggage with the entire collection mixed up at the airport and taken by someone else the day before our first-ever presentation of the brand
2. UPS losing a box with some one of kind samples in it
3. UPS losing a box again with our most expensive items ever produced in it
4. Our first press event damaging and losing some garments
5. 3 months to get a parcel back which was in the forwarder warehouse all along
6. Turkey customs asking for 400€ to clear one parcel with just some bits of packaging, while we are in a free trade agreement
7. The main photo model cancelling on us a couple of days before our main first photoshoot
8. Our main supplier shipping the majority of samples the evening before the ultimate deadline, which was already moved 3 times to help them
9. One of our new customers wanted to cancel their order 3 weeks before shipment
10. Some products coming out of production all wrong
11. Strike at Florence airport, stopping all luggage to go through, one day before presenting the collection at Pitti
12. And a few other horrible ones that really show that some suppliers are not organised well at all, with missing trims, fabrics, errors and so on …
13. … and I am sure that we are only getting started..

What keeps us going are all the customers giving us praises on how good their products are, how smooth the customer experience is and how they love the universe so far and want to see more about it. To all of you, we say thank you and we hope to meet again this year!
