3?Vital Ways To?Automate Your Personal Productivity

Personal productivity starts with ruthlessly getting rid of wasteful "tasks."

If you focus on everything, then you focus on nothing. So it's more important to focus on your top priorities rather than figuring out WTF productivity means. But one thing is for sure, get rid of the crap.

You eliminate wasteful activities through automation or a semblance of automation.

Tier 1: Design

The first step of automating your productivity is designing your core processes.

If you do something more than two times per week, create a process.?All your routine functions should be done the same way, without a lot of thinking on your part.

This increases speed, decreases the use of mental energy, and serves as an excellent start to delegation.

Tier 2: Delegate

The next step is to delegate your processes to someone else.

It can be someone on your team or an assistant. If it doesn't have a significant return on your life, career, or business, it's likely a better responsibility for someone else.

This is human executed automation.

Tier 3: Automate

True automation comes from technology.

Either you or the person you delegated to should?always find ways to automate redundant and repetitive activities.?There's plenty of technology to help you achieve this. My favorites are:

  • Zapier: connects software to software.
  • Salesforce: with Flow, you can automate everything that takes time away from direct selling activities (excluding entering opportunity notes).

Use these tiers as a guide, but nothing is more important than deleting what doesn't matter and ruthlessly focusing on your top priorities—that's true productivity.
